Ghanaian football lovers have been reacting to the sack of Kwesi Appiah as the head coach of the Black Stars following the dissolution of all the technical teams of the various national teams.

Appiah was re-appointed as the coach of the Ghana national team, replacing former Chelsea manager Avram Grant in April 2017.

His first appointment as the head coach of the national team was in April 2012.

The calls for his sack intensified after he led Ghana for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where the team performed abysmally exiting the competition in the first round.

Although he was given a new contract in 2014, Appiah voluntarily left his position to became manager of Sudanese club Al Khartoum in December 2014.

In April 2017, he was reappointed as the head coach of the Black Stars.

Appiah has, however, not been able to win any trophy with the national team.

When news of his dismissal broke, Ghanaians took to twitter to react.
