A Ghanaian midwife in the Sekyere Afram Plains District in the Ashanti region, Dominica Loglo, has self-sponsored a party for expectant and new mothers

Dominica Loglo, a Ghanaian midwife in the Sekyere Afram Plains District in the Ashanti region, has organised a party for pregnant woman at the Hamidu CHPS Compound to help promote maternal and child health.

In an effort to put flashing smiles on the faces of the expectant mothers and to discourage home delivery, Dominica Loglo, organised a get-together for the pregnant women and new mothers who delivered within November and December 2019.

Loglo’s benevolent gesture follows Margaret Afriyie, Ghanaian midwife and God-sent, who received great commendation for her love and compassion towards the poor and needy especially pregnant mothers in under-served communities
