Competition Format
Ninety-Seven Senior High Schools and Colleges were drawn into Seventeen groups of Six teams with some group with Five schools. The teams in each group played a single round robin. After the group stage, the top teams from each group were advanced to another group stage. At this stage, the teams were drawn into four groups of four teams each with only one group of five teams. The teams in each group played a single round robin. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group were advanced to another group stage. The teams were drawn into Two groups of four teams each. The teams in each group played a single round robin. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group were qualified to play the final while the runner-up of both groups played the 3rd place stage.
